About Paolo Rubino
My name is Paolo Rubino. I’m from Brooklyn, NY.
I believe:
- In a strict interpretation of the U.S. Constitution,
- We are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights and we should exercise these rights as often as possible and fight back against those who seek to restrict said rights,
- Small Government,
- A strong national defense.
About Government*:
- Government is not the solution to our problems; government is the problem.
- We are a nation that has a government — not the other way around.
- Our Government has no power except that granted it by the people.
- The government, its agencies and agents, at all levels, have grown beyond the consent of the governed.
- Concentrated power has always been the enemy of liberty.
- Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves.
- Government’s first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives.
- Government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
- History teaches that war begins when governments believe the price of aggression is cheap.
- Man is not free unless government is limited.
- People do not make wars; governments do.
- Protecting the rights of even the least individual among us is basically the only excuse the government has for even existing.
- The most terrifying words in the English language are: I’m from the government and I’m here to help.
- The taxpayer – that’s someone who works for the federal government but doesn’t have to take the civil service examination.
- If you invent a better mousetrap, the government comes along with a better mouse.
My blog is not just about politics. I will also post what ever catches my interest at the moment. Subscribe and/or feel free to browse my pages and leave comments.

show some respect, asshole. putti our president’s pocture in a carefully created picture along with hitler is disrespectful to all Americans.
If you don’t like it in America, why don’t you leave and live somewhere else?

Thank you for your information. I fought for freedom and believe we must stop the Federal government from taking our civil rights without a fight.
For the first time in a long time I think more Americans are seeing this truth. The government is conscienceless. If we’re not vigilant the government will take everything from us while preaching freedom and security.
Hey, my name is Frank. I’m a 23 year old conservative acting student. Weird, right? I really enjoy your blog. It’s interesting and informative. I just started writing about politics and I would love it if you would take a look at my columns (I have been posting every week) and give some feedback, follow or even spread the word. I just posted a column about the Chicago teacher strike called “The Chicago Teacher Syndicate”. Franklypolitics.wordpress.com
Thans for your time!

Frank, thanks for the kudos, it’s really appreciated. I was just at your blog and it looks like you’re doing some really good work. I’m going to repost your story on the teacher’s union, it will appear tomorrow (9/19) some time. I’ve also added your blog to my watch list.
RubinoWorld is also fairly new, we’ve only been around since April. If i may offer one helpful hint, i would suggest utilizing a site called Change Detection to monitor changes in sites you wish to monitor. You simply enter your email address, then enter the addresses of web sites you wish to monitor. When a change is detected at a site you’re monitoring you get an email notification. It’s a real time saver. Rather than having to go through a list of bookmarks you get automatic notification of changes. It has really helped me track breaking stories.
Thanks for stopping by, we’ll continue to try and bring the news you won’t find in the lamestream media.
Paolo
Thanks so much for the advice! I look forward to sharing columns and such.
