So the election has come and gone and obama has won a second term. I must admit i am very surprised, but the people have spoken and as a nation we will now get exactly what we have asked for – 4 more years of a clown president.

There is something wrong with our nation. There was a time in America when a person like obama – with his lies, corruption, obfuscation and failed record – would have been defeated handily by any faceless opponent with a heartbeat. Not in todays America.

The scarier question is, what kind of opponent would it have taken to defeat obama? Somebody who lies more? Promises more handouts? Promises more deficit spending? Weakens our national defenses more? Caters more to our enemies? Embraces more communists? Befriends more radical leftists? Promises more class warfare? Is more lenient on terrorists? Is more hostile to religious beliefs? Has a larger kill list?

We are a free nation and as such we are also free to fail. Sadly, i believe we have just chosen to fail.

I began this blog in April 2012 with the express purpose of doing my part to promote ideas and candidates i believed were/are good for our nation. Now with the election over, this blog will again return to a more casual posting schedule. I’ll be posting a few political stories here and there but for the most part i will stick to posting more personal (less political) interests, updates will be more sporadic.
