Benghazi Whistleblower Hicks A Democrat, Voted For Hillary And Obama Twice

Sorry libs, Hick is not a partisan hack.

A key Benghazi whistle-blower who has allegedly been punished for speaking out against the administration is a registered Democrat who voted for both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

The lawyer of Gregory Hicks, the former U.S. deputy chief of mission in Libya who testified before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Wednesday, confirmed the information to The Daily Caller on Saturday.

According to the lawyer, Victoria Toensing, Hicks voted for Clinton during the 2008 primary, and for then-Illinois Sen. Obama in the 2008 general election. He again voted for Obama in 2012.

Why Is Farrakhan’s Cop Son Driving a Taxpayer-Funded Police Car and Carrying a Gun?

Why Is Farrakhan’s Cop Son Driving a Taxpayer-Funded Police Car and Carrying a Gun When He Hasn’t Worked a Shift in 4+ Years?

The Minister Louis Farrakhan’s son, Mustapha, is making headlines in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs after some intriguing claims were made in a Chicago Sun-Times article on Sunday. A registered police officer with the Harvey Police Department in Harvey, Illinois, Mustapa allegedly hasn’t worked a shift in more than four years. However, that’s not what’s raising eyebrows.

According to state records, a lack of employment activity with the police force hasn’t stopped the man, known as “Supreme Captain” of the Nation of Islam (a title that means he could one day take his father’s place) from purportedly exercising police duties. Mustapha, 52, apparently still has a badge, drives an unmarked police car and he’s registered with the state as a gun-carrying cop in the city of Harvey.

Certainly, these elements are odd for an officer who reportedly hasn’t worked in years, but the Sun-Times’ account provides additional details that may cause some head-scratching, specifically considering the alleged “off-duty” work that Mustapha does for the Nation of Islam:

Officer Farrakhan does, though, appear to do “police work” off-duty, more than a dozen miles outside Harvey city limits, in Chicago, where he uses his Harvey squad car’s lights to stop traffic and escorts his father’s unofficial motorcade, a Chicago Sun-Times investigation has found.

Obama Could Not Pass a Background Check

President Barack Obama could not pass a background check if he was applying for a gun permit or a job. Why has this man been allowed to remain in office or take the oath for a second time?

llinois Concealed Carry Referendum Passes in all 10 Counties, Overwhelmingly

via Guns.com

Look, it’s no secret, Illinoisans want the same rights that (almost) everyone else has, specifically, the right to keep and bear arms for self-defense outside the home.

Last Tuesday, this fact was made clear when 10 Illinois counties – Adams, Bond, Henry, McDonough, Mercer, Randolph, Rock Island, Schuyler, Stephenson and Warren – voted on a non-binding, concealed carry referendum.

In all 10 counties, the advisory measure passed by overwhelming majorities, a result that is difficult to ignore, say pro-gun advocates.

“I think the message will be heard,” because some counties that voted on the issue were in more Democrat-leaning northwest parts of the state, Valinda Rowe, the spokeswoman for Illinois Carry, told the Associated Press.

“Hopefully [the Democratic leadership] will see a correlation here that there is widespread support for this issue,” she added.

Though, those who oppose bringing concealed carry to the Land of Lincoln believe that the referendum did little to change the status quo because the majority of the counties that participated were downstate, which has been historically pro-carry.

“They were … from areas that always have been supportive of concealed carry, but were not even on the ballot in counties where they would have had more impact,” Colleen Daley of the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence told the AP.

Daley also underscored the fact that the newly elected Democratic lawmakers would vote against a concealed carry bill were one to be introduced in the next legislative cycle, which starts Jan. 9.
